| As a seed sown in the GCC region, GUST Logistics Forum (GLF) is a continuing educational and learning experiment where results will be focused on professional development in a changing landscape of Kuwait for Logistics and Supply Chain Management. This effort will be in consonant with alternative strategies of Kuwait and others where economy will be fueled more by trade than by oil. Such strategies will create demand for specific skills in logistics which are in short supply in Middle East. GLF will provide the platform for professional training and development in Global Supply Chain that will be predominantly be driven by youth of today. |

| Definition of GLF |
| The GUST Logistics Forum (GLF) provides networking and industry information to students interested in the fields of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The GLF sponsors speakers, plant tours, and various forums to accentuate the BS in Logistics Management / MBA curriculum with the goal of enhancing understanding of the industry. The GLF also sponsors networking events and corporate contacts to help students find employment in the Logistics and Supply Chain fields.
Current and past events include speaker events with local prominent leaders in the supply chain and logistics industry, a workshop on Supply Chain Management Practice and Research Status and Future Directions, and a Supply Chain electives forum. |
