GUST graduates do not need tickets, but they should bring their GUST ID. All graduates will receive 4 tickets for guests to attend the graduation ceremony.

Graduates must be ready and in campus at 5:30pm sharp.
Guests should arrive no later than 6:00 pm.
The graduation ceremony approximately will be two and a half hours long. It will officially kick off at 7.30pm. Graduates and their guests will be free to hang around after and enjoy a dinner buffet and a live music performance.
Yes. All graduates will come to the stage when their names are read to be congratulated by GUST and receive their diploma. Additionally, graduates who had their photo taken for the yearbook will have their photo displayed in the background screen while receiving their diploma.
Yes, all faculty and students taking part in the graduation ceremony are required to wear the traditional academic attire for the ceremony.
Gowns will be available every day from Sunday October 20th until Sunday November 10th (excluding Fridays and Saturdays) at the Admissions and Registration Dept. counter in the center, from 3:00PM until 7:00PM.
Each graduate will receive:
1. Cap and Tassel
2. Sash (blue for CBA students and green for CAS students)
3. Hoods (for MBA students)
4. Honor Cord (for high honor and honor students)
5. Graduates Ring (which will be given out on day of graduation ceremony)

Undergraduate students should wear their tassel on the right side of their cap at the beginning of the ceremony. After students are pronounced as graduates, tassels are moved to the left side of the cap.

Yes! Attendance for both graduation rehearsals is mandatory. All graduates must attend both rehearsals taking place on Monday, Nov. 4th, at 6:00 pm and Sunday, Nov. 10th, at 6:00 pm at the GUST amphitheater.
Anyone who is not present at the second rehearsal will not receive his invitations and will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony.
You will receive your diploma from the Admissions and Registrations Office, Degree Audit office.

Yes. Four professional studios will be set up to take your photos during the ceremony at the main building center. The studios will be available from 6:00pm until the end of the ceremony to take individual, group, and family photos. Please make your own arrangements with the studio directly. Kindly note that it's not allowed to bring your personal photographer to the ceremony.
There will be a professional video recording taken at the graduation ceremony, this will be streamed live on YouTube and Instagram to enable families and friends without allocated seats to see the ceremony. Graduates and guests seated in amphitheater should be aware that they might appear on the live stream and on the recordings.
Yes. A video of the ceremony will be produced by GUST. You will be receiving a full coverage of the ceremony which will include photos and videos, as well as a copy of your graduating class yearbook. This will all be ready for you to pick up along with your diploma.
You can activate you official GUST Alumni email after graduating. Visit alumni.gust.edu.kw/request to put in a request. This email will be used to communicate all alumni related information.
Yes. There will be a buffet dinner following the ceremony.
