Mission :

The Language Unit of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences contributes to the general education and liberal arts curriculum of the university. Faculty follow of a task-based approach to provide students with a command of modern languages and cultural competencies as well as critical thinking and communication skills that allow for interaction in real-life settings.

The Humanities and Social Sciences Department held its 4th annual Language Awards ceremony, which recognized the best-performing students in GUST’s language courses, including French, German, and Spanish.
