About the Faculty Member
Antonia Jolic is an Instructor of Visual Communications with the Department of Mass Communication and Media at Gulf University for Science andTechnology (GUST). She is trained as a graphic designer and holds a bachelor degree in this field from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Her postgraduate level studies (Masters) focused on marketing and advertising. Throughout her career Antonia have been both a design practitioner and an academic. Antonia has more than 15 years of experience working in design. From 2001 to 2010 she was the principal designer and owner of Design Consortium, a multidisciplinary design studio based in Melbourne. Her work ranges from brand development, packaging, publishing, exhibition design, environmental graphics, as well as new media. She has held positions as tutor at her alma mater, Monash University, as well as the Australian Academy of Design, where she held both coordinator and senior lecturer positions. Antonia is currently pursuing her doctorate studies with Monash Art Design and Architecture (MADA), Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.

Teaching interests include all aspects of graphic design: branding, corporate communication, editorial design, environmental design, information design, illustration, photography, advertising, packaging and typography. Other interests include integrated marketing communications and event management.
