Adjunct faculty in the Math Foundation Unit
MFU instructors are responsible for providing effective instruction in foundation-level mathematics to second-language learners within a student-centered learning environment. The MFU is an accredited standardized program committed to helping students develop the basic math skills necessary to function effectively in their subsequent courses for their chosen majors. Applicants must have a Master's degree in Mathematics, Math Education or a related discipline. A minimum of two years of recent academic experience required, preferably at the university level, and the ability to provide instruction at various levels within the program. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English a must. A high degree of computer literacy is required, and experience teaching developmental courses and ESL students is preferred.
