متطلبات الدرجة العلمية
يُشار إلى المحاسبة غالبًا باسم "لغة الأعمال"، فهي عملية إعداد ونقل المعلومات المالية عن الشركات والمنظمات غير الربحية إلى المدراء والمستثمرين والدائنين وغيرهم من مستخدمي القوائم المالية، وذلك للمساعدة في اتخاذ القرارات الاقتصادية.يوفّر برنامج بكالوريوس العلوم في المحاسبة في جامعة الخليج للعلوم والتكنولوجيا (GUST) للطلبة الخلفية التعليمية الأساسية اللازمة للنجاح المهني، والحصول على المؤهلات المحاسبية الاحترافية، ومتابعة الدراسات العليا.ولتحقيق ذلك، يتم طرح مقررات أساسية في مجالات التقارير المالية والمحاسبة الإدارية، إلى جانب مجموعة متنوعة من المقررات المتخصصة في التدقيق، ومحاسبة التكاليف، ونظم المعلومات المحاسبية، وتحليل القوائم المالية
عادةً ما يكون بكالوريوس العلوم في المحاسبة برنامجًا دراسيًا مدته أربع سنوات ويشمل 120 ساعة معتمدة. يُطلب من الطلاب إكمال 40 مقررًا دراسيًا للتخرج. يشمل المنهاج الدراسي ما يلي:
