Assistant Professor for Accounting in the Accounting & MIS Department
Description
The Department of Accounting & MIS in the College of Business Administration at GUST invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Accounting or any related field to start in Fall 2026. The ideal candidate should hold a Ph.D. degree in Accounting with an active research record and has teaching experience in at least two of the following subjects: Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and auditing (Experience in applying Artificial Intelligence within accounting education or research is highly desirable.). The State of Kuwait does not recognize degrees from online universities.
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate who should possess excellent communication skills in English must be ambitious, self-motivated, hard-working, with the ability to work both individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team where scientific creativity is essential. The applicant must have completed a PhD in Accounting or any related field from a reputable North American (U.S. or Canada) or European university with at least three years of teaching experience after the doctoral degree. Successful candidates are expected to publish high-quality research in leading peer-reviewed journals.
