GUST Library Marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the GUST Library welcomed the university community throughout October to visit its special awareness display. The initiative highlighted the importance of raising awareness, encouraging early detection, celebrating survivors, and supporting all those affected by breast cancer.
Visitors explored a curated selection of eBooks and
resources on breast health, awareness, and support. The Library also offered
awareness pens and pins, inviting members of the GUST community to leave
messages of support and solidarity.
October is recognized globally as Breast Cancer Awareness
Month, with a focus on promoting timely diagnosis, screening, and access to
quality care.
Thank you to everyone who visited the display, picked up an
awareness item, and shared a message of support.
