GUST Library Supports Literary Society Club's World Arabic Language Day
Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) celebrated World Arabic Language Day through a special event organized by the Literary Society Club, titled “اللغةُ هُوية… والبداية اقرأ”. The GUST Library was proud to partially sponsor this meaningful celebration, which highlighted the beauty of the Arabic language and the richness of its culture.
The event featured a range of engaging activities, including reflections on Arabic calligraphy, student participation from diverse cultural backgrounds, and two enriching seminars exploring themes of language, identity, and heritage. These activities created an inspiring space for dialogue, creativity, and cultural exchange among attendees.
As part of its collaboration, the GUST Library supported the student-led event by sharing access to its Arabic collections through a QR code featured on the event giveaways. By sponsoring initiatives such as this, the library reinforces its role as a hub for learning, creativity, and community engagement. These partnerships help strengthen reading habits, encourage critical thinking, and provide platforms for student voices to be heard.
The GUST Library congratulates the Literary Society Club on a successful event and looks forward to future collaborations that continue to celebrate the power of words and shared learning.
