GUST Library Welcomes New Students at Orientation

GUST Library welcomed new students during the university’s orientation for the 2026/2027 academic year. Acting Library Head Wadhhah Ahmed delivered an introductory talk on the library’s services, resources, and facilities, including research and search support, library rules, and practical advice for making the most of the library.

Following the session, Library Assistant Dana Bushalaibi led a guided tour of the library’s welcoming spaces, from quiet study areas to group study rooms. Students also explored its special collections, including the Kuwait Collection, featuring local history, traditions, and works by Kuwaiti authors; embassy collections; and publications by GUST faculty and alumni.

GUST Library looks forward to becoming a home for students to study, explore, and connect throughout their academic journey.
