As a Public Speaker you are expected to keep up with the current, global, classic newsworthy events on topics of communication, leadership, special interest and be able to discuss it in class or when required.
Be informed, read newspapers, news magazines, and watch news shows (CNN, BBC, France24, Al Arabia, Al Rai, Al Jazeera International, KTV2), etc., to keep up-to-date on current events.
Students are expected to pay attention to current and classic events and news items about the topics of communication and special interest. Students should be able to discuss, the who, what, when, why and how of the story.
Remember that while you have a right to your opinion but you must respect the right of your classmates, colleagues to have differing opinions as well.
