About the Program

Overview

The Train the Trainer – ILM program at GUST Executive Education equips participants with the knowledge and practical techniques required to design and deliver impactful training sessions. The program focuses on building the skills needed to engage learners, structure content effectively, and apply modern training methodologies. By the end of the course, participants will be prepared to create professional training environments that promote learning, confidence, and measurable results, while also working toward an internationally recognized ILM certification.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This program is designed for professionals who are responsible for developing others, including trainers, instructors, team leaders, supervisors, HR and L&D practitioners, as well as subject matter experts who deliver training as part of their role. It is also suitable for individuals seeking to build a career in training and development or to strengthen their presentation and facilitation skills with a professional qualification.

PROGRAM CONTENT

The program begins with an introduction to the role of the trainer, highlighting the skills, attributes, and responsibilities required to deliver effective training. Participants then explore learning theories and styles, gaining insight into how adults learn and how training can be adapted to meet diverse learner needs.

Attention then shifts to training design and development, where participants learn to plan sessions, set objectives, and create engaging training materials. This is followed by training delivery and facilitation, focusing on presentation skills, group management techniques, and strategies to encourage interaction and participation.

The course also covers assessment and evaluation methods, equipping trainers with tools to measure learning outcomes, provide constructive feedback, and ensure continuous improvement. Finally, participants prepare for the ILM certification requirements, including practical demonstrations, reflective assignments, and assessment of their ability to deliver structured and impactful training sessions.
