College of Business Administration

Professor Jean-Paul Arnaout, Dean

Dr. Mohammed Al-Najem, Associate Dean

Mission Statement

The College of Business Administration is committed to achieving excellence in teaching, impactful research, and collaborative relationships with local and regional communities, all in an active learning environment that promotes leadership, ethics, practical skills and entrepreneurial spirit.

Dean's Message

In an environment in which the only constant is change, premier education calls for educators and students alike to engage in new and innovative teaching and learning approaches capable of addressing both immediate concerns and long-term aspirations. To this end, education should inspire imagination and expand horizons, whilst providing students with knowledge, skills, and competencies that are necessary to build successful careers. This is what we proudly do at The Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST).

We pride ourselves on our outstanding undergraduate programs in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing and Management Information Systems (MIS), and our graduate Masters in Business Administration (MBA) program, in addition to the personal attention we afford students. Our programs run within a very disciplined, yet friendly, environment – essential for nurturing educational values and promoting independent thinking. The learning experience at The College of Business Administration (CBA) is therefore demanding but, at the same time, eminently rewarding and satisfying. Learning is reinforced by the close interactions between faculty and students that extends beyond the classroom. These are the hallmarks of our educational approach.

Faculty and staff at the CBA strive to provide our students with top quality education that is based, amongst other things, on AACSB international accreditation, impactful research-informed teaching, internship opportunities, case study competitions, consultancy workshops, student exchange programs with partner institutions in North America, Europe, and Asia, and study abroad visits. These advanced educational initiatives provide our students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to be successful in making a difference in the business community and the world.

If you commit to studying with us, I invite and encourage you to contribute to sustaining the vibrant and innovative environment of GUST. Ensuring that we offer the best education to future business leaders requires prospective students to be excited by their professional and personal endeavors and prospects. I hope you will take the opportunity to visit our campus and experience the positive and vibrant nature of our community yourself.

We look forward to helping you realize your potential.
