GUST Application
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your data when you use the application. GUST developed GUST Mobile application as a free application at no cost.
Collecting and Using Data
For GUST members (including staff, faculty and students) their GUST credentials are sent to third-party (Office 365) to authenticate their account. If the authentication was successful, the data that will be used in the application is:
- First Name
- Surname
- GUST ID and/or Employee ID
- Title (Active student, alumni etc.)
For non-GUST members (Guests), only the device unique ID will be collected, no personal or other data types are collected.
Usage of Data
The device ID will be stored in Firebase but will not be shared. The number of users will be used for Google Analytics and no personal data will be shown. All data collected will not be shared outside our Company. The data is not used for tracking purposes (meaning the data is not linked with other third-party data about the user or device for advertising or advertising measurement, or shared with a data broker).
Children Privacy
The application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers
Links to other websites
The application has links to websites all related to our company. Examples are MyGUST portal link for student courses, registration links, GUST library etc. Some websites links includes booking services which require personal information and used by MyFatoorah (Online Payment) third-party. The information recorded in our servers will not be shared.
