GUST Signs Strategic Agreement with the World Association for Sustainable Development
Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) is proud to announce the signing of a strategic agreement with the World Association for Sustainable Development (WASD). The signing ceremony took place at the historic Royal Society of Medicine in London, an institution renowned for its contributions to global health and knowledge exchange since 1805.
This important partnership marks the beginning of several collaborative initiatives, most notably the hosting of the 23rd Sustainability International Conference, which will be held for the first time in Kuwait from November 11–13, 2025. The conference more details here will bring together leading international experts to tackle critical sustainability challenges and foster innovative, actionable solutions.
Beyond the conference, the agreement also opens pathways for collaboration in cutting-edge fields, including the role of Artificial Intelligence in education and other transformative areas shaping the future of learning and development.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the leadership of WASD, particularly Professor Allam Ahmed, President of WASD, and Professor Farida Fortune, for their commitment to this strategic alliance.
