Dr Naser Abughazaleh joined Gulf University for Science and Technology as a full time Assistant Professor of Accounting in 2010. After receiving his BSc in Accounting with distinction from Jordan in 1998, Dr Abughazaleh spent three years working as a banker at The Arab Bank PLC and Citi Bank. He then joined the University of Birmingham in the UK where he received a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance with merit in 2002. Dr Abughazaleh worked afterwards as a lecturer in Accounting and Finance in both Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. He received a scholarship from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland where he completed his PhD in Accounting in 2009. He worked there afterwards as an Assistant Professor for two years. He has extensive experience in teaching several Accounting and Finance courses as well as supervising research dissertations for both undergraduate and graduate students.
