About the Faculty Member
Mrs. Naila El-Essawi is a Math instructor at Gulf University for Science and Technology. She received her bachelor’s degree in Physics and Math from Kuwait University (1985), Master's degree in Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership, from Framingham State University, Massachusetts (2011). She joined Gulf University for Science and Technology (2012). She received a Teaching Certificate from TESL Centre (Saint Mary’s University Halifax, Canada (2006), participated in ABET Accreditation for the computer science major, Mathematics instructor at Gulf University for Science and Technology (2014 -Present), and participate in NADE accreditation for the Math foundation unit at Gulf university for science & Technology. She received a grant from the Kuwait Foundation for advancement Science (KFAS) for the project Blended learning Model in Physics laboratory Course Using Virtual Learning Environment to support global teaching and learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
