Asmaa Alduhaim received her PhD in Modern Languages and Translation Studies from the University of Birmingham in 2018. Her MA was in English/Arabic Translation and Interpreting from the University of Salford, Manchester in England (2011). Alduhaim is a member of several translation communities in the world and previously worked as a translator and an interpreter for many international organizations such as the UNESCO and the British Red Cross. Alduhaim current research interests include, but are not limited to translation and linguistics particular within a critical discourse analysis framework, translation and political discourse, translating ideology and translation within a multimodal framework.
