About the Faculty Member

Dr. Babul Salam Ibrahim earned a PhD in Control Engineering from the University of Sheffield in 2011. He is a highly motivated academic with significant expertise in Electrical Engineering, specializing in robotics and control systems, with 14 years of teaching and research experience. Dr. Ibrahim has authored over 100 technical papers published in journals and conference proceedings within his field. He holds the designation of Chartered Engineer from the UK Institution of Engineering and Technology and has successfully supervised numerous PhD and Master's students. Additionally, he has organized and presented several seminars on Thesis Writing and Research Methodology. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department at the College of Engineering and Architecture, Gulf University for Science & Technology (GUST), Kuwait. Prior to this role, he held positions as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing at Coventry University, United Kingdom, and as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, Johor, Malaysia.
