Abdulraheem Al Bakkour's academic journey commenced in Syria, where he pursued his undergraduate studies at Al Baath University, culminating in a Bachelor's degree in English Literature in 2002. Building upon this foundation, Abdulraheem furthered his scholarly pursuits by obtaining his first master's degree in literary studies from Aleppo University in 2007. Driven by a thirst for knowledge and supported by a prestigious scholarship from the Karim Rida Said institution, Abdulraheem embarked on an international academic odyssey. This endeavor led him to Warwick University in the United Kingdom, where he attained his second master's degree in Translation Studies in 2008. Parallel to his scholarly endeavors, Abdulraheem's passion for education found expression in his early years as an ESL instructor, commencing in 2003 during his tenure as an adjunct at Al Baath University's Language Center in Syria. Through this pedagogical journey, Abdulraheem honed his expertise, expanding his repertoire to encompass comparative literary studies, translation studies, and the pedagogy of English as a second language.
