About the Faculty Member
Ángela M. González Echeverry is Associate Professor in the Department of Humanities at Gulf University for Science & Technology in Kuwait.
She has a doctorate in Literature with a sub-specialty in Cultural Studies/Humanities from Arizona State University (ASU), a Master's degree in Hispanic American
literature from Ohio University (OU), and a Law degree from Universidad de Caldas, Manizales, Colombia.
Among her publications is the book entitled Fictions and Memories: Poetics in Contemporary Narratives. Press University of Manizales (2016).
She also has articles in academic journals on Colombian/Latin American literature and cultures.
She has recently consolidated a South-South cultural dialogue that has given her the opportunity to incorporate Kuwait into her academic career.
She is a marathon runner and a proud mother of April.
