George Joseph joined GUST in 2009 after nearly ten years of service teaching the English Language to different institutions in India, Kuwait, and the UK. At GUST, he is an English language instructor currently teaching ENG 100 and ENG 110 courses. He was also the chairperson of the Cultural Committee and an active member of three other University committees. George was elected as a member of the Board of Trustees of ICSK, Kuwait, in 2016, and he was the chair of the academic committee for 2016-2017. Joseph has 25 years of experience as a teacher of English, eight of which were spent teaching senior secondary school students at St. Francis Inter College, India. After receiving his MBA and MA in English, he taught Business English and Marketing to post-graduate students over a period of three years. He also completed the TEFL course at Bedford, UK, and CELTA at Cambridge University, UK. Later, he served at Indian Community School Kuwait, teaching English to 15 to 17-age groups. From 2002 to 2004, he served as a Business Communication and Marketing instructor for the MBA program offered by Manipal University in Kuwait. George has been serving as a board member of St. Treasa Senior Secondary School, Bhopal, India, since 2018, giving academic advice to school administrators to improve the quality of education. He has also held several workshops on "Effective Communication Skills" for employees of different organizations in India. Workshops Presented Presented a workshop on June 3, 2023, at Entab Infotech, New Delhi. The workshop focussed on "The Melody of English." • Held a seminar on "The Essential Essay Writing Tips" to grade 12 students at Mother Treasa Senior Secondary School, Bhopal, India, on August 21, 2023.
