Dr. Maher Kachour is an Associate Professor at the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST), Kuwait, where he teaches Linear Algebra, Calculus I, Statistical Analysis, Research Methodology, and Business Models. He earned his PhD in Applied Mathematics (Statistics) from IRMAR, University of Rennes 1, France. Before joining GUST, Dr. Kachour held academic and leadership roles at ESSCA School of Management and IDRAC Business School, where he led the Operations Management and Decision Science Department and coordinated digital innovation projects in HRM. He has also taught at the University of Nantes, ENSICAEN, IRMAR–Rennes 1, and ISTP – École des Mines. His research bridges applied statistics, ICT, and business model innovation, focusing on data-driven decision systems and integer-valued time series.
