About the Faculty Member
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Mass Media at Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) in Kuwait. I received my doctorate in mass communications at the University of Southern Mississippi in 2015.
Teaching Interest(s)
I am a new faculty member at GUST. I am currently teaching Media Law and Ethics; Media Management, Introduction to Mass Media courses. I have previously taught different courses both at undergraduate and graduate programs including Mass Media Research; Theories of Media and Communications; Newswriting, Senior Thesis; Interpersonal Communication, Editing; Psychology and Communication among others.
Expertise Area(s)
My major research interests include international journalism practice and culture, journalism education and research, media ethics, censorship and self-censorship among others.
