About the Faculty Member
Prof. Mahamed G. H. Omran received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees with Honors in Computer Engineering from Kuwait University, State of Kuwait, in 1998 and 2000, respectively. He completed his Ph.D. in the Department of Computer Science at University of Pretoria, South Africa, in April 2005. His current research interest is in the area of meta-heuristics and machine learning. Omran has more than 50 publications in these fields.
