Faculty & Staff Member Profile

Carl obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Physics at The Graduate University for Advanced Studies (Japan). He was then appointed as Postdoctoral Fellow at the Molecular Photoscience Research Center of Kobe University (Japan) focusing on terahertz (THz) spectroscopy of small biomolecules. As a Scientist (Forskare) at Lund University, Sweden his research theme was on probing ultrafast charge dynamics in photovoltaic materials. He then moved to Linkoping University (Sweden) as Senior Fellow (Bitradand Universitetlektor) where he also obtained his Docent degree on the topic of developing THz organic electronic devices. He is currently Associate Professor in GUST and an Affiiliate Professor in Vilnius University, Lithunia and Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines.
