About the Faculty Member
Martin Rosenstock is Assistant Professor of German at Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST). After completing his Master of Arts in English and American Literature at Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universit ät in Frankfurt, Germany, he received a scholarship to a Ph.D. program in German Literature at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His dissertation, completed in 2008, investigates the problematic nature of rational inquiry in post-WW II German-language crime and detective fiction. Prior to his current appointment, he held visiting positions at Iowa State University and the University of Connecticut. He joined the faculty of GUST in fall 2011.
