About the Faculty Member
Ebrahim Sarkhouh is an Assistant Professor at Gulf University of Science and Technology in Kuwait, specializing in edge computing, vehicular networks, and machine learning. His educational background includes a Bachelor\'s and Master\'s in Computer Engineering from Kuwait University, followed by a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Concordia University, Canada, focusing on workload scheduling in MEC-Assisted Intelligent Transportation Systems. After completing a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at McGill University in collaboration with Ericsson, where he worked on edge computing systems and fault-tolerant applications, his research has contributed to various fields, including vehicular networks, network functions virtualization, electric vehicles, Internet of Things, and social networks, resulting in 11 peer-reviewed journal papers, 12 conference proceedings, and two patents filed in edge computing applications.
