KD 8200/- KFAS Research Grant Awarded to Dr. Helmi Temimi and Dr. Mohamed Ben-Romdhane
Dr. Helmi Temimi (Associate Professor of Mathematics) has been awarded a Research Grant in the amount of 8,200 Kuwaiti Dinars (~27,000$) by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science (KFAS) for his research project entitled “New Efficient and accurate Discontinuous Galerkin Methods for Stochastic Differential Equations Arising in Biology, Finance and Mechanical Engineering”. The grant is co-investigated by and Dr. Mohamed Ben-Romdhane (Assistant Professor of Mathematics).
The research project is conducted in collaboration with Dr. Mahboub Baccouch (Associate Professor, Dept. of Mathematics, University of Nebraska at Omaha, USA) for a two-years period.
