GUST Welcomes Guest Speaker from Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity
GUST’s English Education Department launched their Collaborative Service Teaching initiative with a visit from Ali Al-Enzi, a teacher from the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity. Al-Enzi talked about his role at the center and the different techniques he uses while teaching gifted students. The goal was to introduce Education students to a working professional and be able to get an idea of potential career opportunities and teaching techniques.
This initiative stems from the university’s new strategic goals to develop and grow community ties. These types of collaborations provide an excellent opportunity for in-service teachers to share their experience and expertise with Education students, as well as allow the students to network with education professionals.
