President Meets with GW & UMSL Summer Scholarship Students
GUST President, Professor Walid Bouhamra, sat down with the group of students who spent their Summer attending classes at George Washington University and University of St. Louis - Missouri. The group of nine, discussed and reflected upon their unique experiences, and gave the President their feedback on what it was like to study abroad.
The aim of the scholarship is to allow those with a thirst to expand their comfort zones to further enrich their academic experience with university life in a different setting., and in order to qualify, applicants must have completed 60 credit hours, be a full-time student enrolled at GUST, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, and attain a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based); 230 (computer-based); or 79-80 (internet-based).
In addition to this scholarship, GUST also offers the Mission Scholarship, whereby Kuwaiti GUST graduates can go on to earn their Master’s and PhD’s in the United States. Please visit the Office of International Programs to learn more about the programs.
